Great pic. Is that a small town on the left or something less permanent?

Nice shot. Wherever it is, I guess you didn't take your vacation there to get away from cold winter weather!

It's a small town/ski resort.

Hard to ski in warm weather.

A beautiful landscape picture. Congratulations on such an awesome vacation spot.

Europe. The yellow thing on the left is an elbow from a stranger.

Those are the clouds we can see in the back? If so, that is pretty darn high... I wonder... gosh... I am certainly not familiar with any areas in Europe.

Yeah these are clouds on the left. The picture was taken at an elevation of 10,500 ft. so not that high wehn you compare to the Us Rockies. You'll notice that there are noe trees from 6000 ft up. Very different from the Us Rockies.
And it was a nice North Dakota like -5 F that day. :-)

Roughly 250 miles as the crow flies. Not the same country either.

I've seen something similar to that picture. It's definitely European. I'd probably remember where it was if I hadn't stopped in Amsterdam and loaded up with skunkweed beforehand. It looks like the place where I got stoned and took a chairlift up to some resort and I started singing "the hills are alive with the sound of music".
