Some people drink Miller Lite because it tastes great. Other people drink Miller Lite because it's less filling. People are passionate about the reason why they drink Miller Lite and those who drink Miller Lite because it tastes great often scream, "Great taste," to show their support for Miller Lite's great taste. This is immediately countered by people who drink Miller Lite because it is less filling by screaming, "Less filling." People who drink Miller Lite for its great taste cannot let this go and scream, "Great taste," again, which causes those who drink Miller Lite because it is less filling to again scream, "Less filling." This continues for a while, and no conclusion is ever reached.

Do you drink Miller Lite because it tastes great or because it is less filling? Why?

My piss tastes better, and has more alcohol content than Miller Light.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

I'd put Dark Lord Imperial Stout up against any beer made in Europe.

Yup, enough said.
I'm glad the OP didn't use Miller (= pee water) and beer in one post

From the website: "Gargantuan Russian Stout brewed with coffee, molasses, and honey; 13% abv ." I've never tried it, but sounds kind of nasty. And the 13% seems like they're trying too hard.

I think you forgot to include "Miller Lite is a horrible example of a beer, and I would never drink it."

As much as I'd love to support Miller Lite, being from Wisconsin and making several trips each summer to Miller Park to watch the Brewers play...I just can't do it. It tastes awful. I don't pretend to be some beer connoisseur and act like obscure foreign beers or microbrews are the only thing worth drinking like some people on here do, but Miller Lite is pretty bad.

Less filling, in that by being unable to drink it in any quantity it's less filling.

I think you should create a "have you ever drank your own pee?" thread. This would be great and useful to document.

I don't know. These "this beer tastes like pee" arguments are always very amusing to me. It's like a pissing match about piss.

It's definitely a brute of a beer, very complex and almost "epic". If you want some wimpy lager, look elsewhere.

Beers like Miller Lite have to be served very very cold to be good. Otoh, you can serve a stout much cooler and it tastes great. I would recommend Sam Adams Cream Stout. That's a good stout. Never heard of that other one.

Yeah, Coors Lite tastes like ass out of bottle, but it is good out of a can. That's one of the few that's like that.

I drink Busch Lite if I'm going the cheap route, tastes the same as the more expensive name brand beers from Bud, Coors, and Miller...which is to say it tastes like watered down urine.

I remember it as being one of the most water-like of the "lite" beers.

Hmmm... So is Peroni fake Italian, or Miller fake American?

It doesn't bother me, though. Peroni + Olmecca = Happy Calverson.

Miller is fake American. You'd be pleased to know that SABMiller is actually South African (although its headquarter is now in London, UK)

You're my kind of guy Laminar. Chimay Grande Reserve is unquestionably the best beer in the world. The 2004 vintage was my favourite.
