I would like change parts (essentials) of my GUI without launch Shapeshifter.
Question:
Can I take this file from an specific theme and replace it onto System components (/System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Resources/Extras.rsrc) ?
I've experience this hack with “Extra.rsrc” of Percival in this forum (search as “System Preferences Resource”). He create an unity theme for all windows in Tiger (no window bar).

I replace old by new one, rebuilding authorizations, no problems.
Now, I try the same hack with Max's theme... and no future.
On restart Mac OS, the boot crash !
Why ?
I must reboot from CD's Tiger, reinstall a new system to another partition, reboot from it, replace manually the new "Extra.rsrc” by the old archived and restart with success...
I would like more custom Percival's theme with sidebar Finder for example, that ShapeShifter 2.1.2 can offer...
Last question :
Must I do place near “Extra.rsrc” all the file and folder ressources create by SS when I mod the theme ?
