I wonder if she's finally getting surgery. She's getting that surprised greyhound look that was made so popular by Joan Rivers.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

It's amazing what makeup and a computer with great software can make a person look like isn't it?

Her head is disproportionate to her body. That ad looks ****ing terrible. Whoever approved it should be shot in the face...twice!

I think twice would be enough only if they were .50 caliber bullets shot from the .50 cal. beretta sniper rifle. then they would do the necessary damage!

Actually, I think the whole photograph is fine. I'm just shocked that the only things in that picture that are in any way tasteful are her white top, the furniture, and the Apple products.

I mean, what's with that bag!?

Agreed. I like the image too. Of course it is heavily retouched, welcome to the world of fashion. I'm glad Versace is working with Madge rather than a 16 year old rake.

I think Madonna, retouched, oddly posed and all looks great. It's actually about the bag. The iMac just happens to be a nice white object that appeals to us Mac geeks. I'm sure there are furniture or design nuts going nuts over that chair or the lamp in the background.

Good pic, though from a composition standpoint. At least we get to see lots of product, and there's even a story - old Madge at the home-office fielding some calls while she organizes her global takeover on her shiny new iMac. The kids are obviously NOT allowed in this room.

Without seeing her name in that ad, I wouldn't of known it was her, really.

I don't know what's scarier, that gaudy suitcase or what looks to be Madonna.

yea, that bag is hysterical. probably a few thousand dollars.

and, i could see a 12 inch ibook fitting in there rather easily. ibooks look like oversized makeup cases anyhow. you'd prolly scratch it all up but get a new one a few months later or something.

purse contents:

iBook

makeup

lipstick

cocaine

golden versace straw

iPod (side pocket)

that flat-ass 5MP Sony camera

black american express card --"i prefer the term african american express"-Kanye.

Very much agreed.
Either she had a bad rash, someone needs a bit of practice using the brush tool in Photoshop or this is really Madonna's head pasted onto some model's body (<- my guess). Very funny, though!

Sure. Because Versace can't afford a decent photographer. Or the entire Madge. Only her head, and then some amateur did a cut and paste job.

Dude, you need to stop being so darn Prussian and take (most of) the comments in threads like this one for what they really are - rarely entirely serious and every now and then worth a giggle - nothing more, nothing less.

Chill out - I wasn't trying to shatter your belief system.

And just for curiosity's sake ... judging from the jpg posted here (since we don't have access to the original shot), what's your take on where that kalbsleberwurst-colored shadow comes from?

Sorry. But I just get irritated when people who don't know what they're talking about - do.

This is Versace we're talking about, not some two bit stall down the Old Kent Road selling moody knock-offs. Do you think, in all honesty, that Versace would allow for anything to do with publicity and marketing to be released that is less than perfect? They work with some of the very best fashion photographers on the freaking planet. And it riles me when I read comments like "needs practice with the Photoshop brush". Maybe more than it should, granted.

What you're seeing there is nothing but a bit of jpg artifact.

But you're right. Peace

If Versace is so perfect and they only hire the best that make no mistakes, then please do explain why the picture looks so odd. Her face doesn't look natural. She looks like she's on drugs and has been crying all day. Like a bad outtake from a VERY long photo shoot. And please explain the bad taste exhibited in all the fashion if Versace is so perfect. I see bad photoshop work in big-name advertizing all the time. Cars are pasted into backgrounds with bad lighting and wrong perspective etc. They use body double in celebrity promotions frequently. I bet that some 20 year old model DID sit there for three days getting the shot right and then get Maddys head dropped over her face. Those don't look ANYthing like her feet to me.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Madonna is just all about Madonna. It does look like a lot of heavy air brush work.

Her hand looks totally fake too. I'm starting to think that Versace is known for fake cut and paste and bad photoshop! Maybe that's a style now!

I *so* saw that one coming.

I can't help it, though: Madonna is simply beyond reproach. At least since Ray of Light and her *finally* getting singing lessons.

She's always pushed the envelope, and her production has always been top-notch. I may not like her older stuff much, personally, but I hold her in high respect.

Sue me.

Whatever she is, she's a pain in the arse. When we worked on one of her videos (with Ali G), we had it all completed, she was happy, but then decided her wrinkles were showing too much. So... we spent 3 more weeks trying to make her happy, which majorly cut into our run-in to the next project.

She was highly annoying too.
