does anyone use this, I currently have a home theater master mx-500 which I don't really like. I am thinking of buying this. Only $99 at amazon.com (Logitech Harmony 880 Remote - dealmac.com) just wondering how well it works with mac and if it's any better than what I have?

I have the 890 and it works fine with Macs. The ergonomics isn't the best, but it was a relatively cheap solution for all my remotes and having equipment hidden away.

I have a similar Harmony remote and I love it. The mac software is pretty crappy, but it works. Most of it is web based.

Actually, the mac software is REALLY bad, but it does indeed work, eventually.

Once you get it all set up, it works like a dream.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I had an 890 and had a hard time using it. There always seemed to be one setting that was not quite perfect. I'd set it up, use it, and then find a problem. Repeat this process about a hundred times and you have my experience. The screen is low resolution, but usable. It's certainly not the highest quality piece of equipment in my home theater. Still, for all-in-one remotes, I haven't found anything better. Maybe Apple should make one?

If Apple made it one would have it only have one button?

For what it does it is good enough. I don't watch movies on it.
