I've got this pre-ordered, is it October yet? . Its on 2 discs, a play disc and an install disc to get all the cars and tracks into the game (If you've got a 20GB drive you might need a clearout, or an upgrade. The limited edition comes with a USB stick (this hopefully means photo mode pictures can be saved straight from the game instead of uploading to the Forza site. At first, apart from the rear lights, I couldn't see that much difference between the graphics from 2 to 3. But side by side, 3 does look a lot nicer.

Some comparison pictures of Forza 2 and 3.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

Don't know, its a DVD and its an install disc. It might just copy a DVD's worth of info to the drive, or it might install and expand stuff onto the drive, or it might be a few hundred MB on there. Turn 10 haven't said what space is needed. Are Xbox game DVD's single or dual layer?

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

DL AFAIK, I really hope it's not a full copy of the disc, or even worse, an expanded install.

Might have to locate a cheap 20GB 360 drive just to play this game.....lame. If I wasn't so married to my save-games I would have a new 60GB drive in my newest (fourth) Xbox 360...

Looks awesome. I’m probably going to buy an Xbox 360 just for that.

Thought I'd give this an update. The Forza 3 demo is available on the 24th, and GT5 info will be coming out this week from the Tokyo Games Show 09. These two videos have gone up onto YouTube today, both for the Ferrari 458, one is for GT5 and the other for FM3. The 458 will be DLC in Forza and GT5 info will probably be released this week at the TGS.

YouTube - Gran-Turismo 5's tribute to 458 Italia

YouTube - Forza Motorsport 3's tribute to 458 Italia

To my eyes, they're both impressive, but GT5 has the edge. I can't find any official word about whether either video is using game graphics or pre rendered though.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

This just makes me remember the day I brought GT3 home and asked my friend, "Seriously, how can graphics ever get any better than this?" Those Forza 3 screens look really, really impressive.

I've played the first four GTs and Forza 2, but I probably enjoyed Forza 2 more than those GTs. I'm not really sure why. Maybe it was the decal customization (almost definitely). I sold my second 360 before I even got halfway through the game.

The GT5 soundtrack is also only five years out of date, rather than fifteen.

I've enjoyed a lot of systems up until about 24 hours before I sold them.

Let's not try to make any sense of my console history.

That was more commentary on the game rather than the console.

I am so not buying this game. Less than two seconds into the demo and the race was already a demolition derby. Jesus, the more arcade PGR wasn't like this. It reminded me of GT3 all over again. Pass.

I did too on my first race. I was trying to ply this game like Burnout Paradise. It only took me 2 races to adjust. (I got first place on my second race.) Love the rewind feature. I may end up buying this game when it comes out.

I've been doing hot laps to get up the leaderboards (press y to go to the leaderboard on the start race screen with the map of the track, then start race from the leaderboard screen). As many laps as you like with no other cars.

Playing with no assists, manual gears and auto clutch on a gamepad.

Mini - 1.15.2
Evo - 1.12.4
Ferrari - 1.09.3
Audi - 1.06.7
Porsche - 1.02.3

It'll be much easier if you just comply.
