After upgrading Panther from 10.3.1 to 10.3.2 the upgraded nVidia drivers allow Ottomatic's opening scene where the rocket ship is landing to play with no stutter with resolution set at 1440x900 and 32 bit. As I recall the rocket ship always used to show a stutter when landing. My old 667 DVI would show no stutter during this scene, so now I am more pleased with my 17" Rev A. For those who don't know the 32 MB Panther update is available now via internet. ATI as well as nVidia drivers are upgraded in this newest update. Wish I had done an XBENCH before and after the update though!
Has anyone other tests showing the benefits from the new drivers and/or other system modifications? I remember people saying that 10.3.1 made some demanding games almost impossible to play.
