I need to network with a windows system running XP Professional. I am able to connect and get on the internet but I have not figured out how to access any of the printers on the network. I admit I'm no cross platform networking wiz, my experience is limited to all mac networks. Can anyone give me any ideas on what can or cannot be done when trying to access a PC network? I'm running 10.1.1 on an iBook (the machine I need to use with the PCs).

A few more details: There are two network cards in the PC. One brings in roadrunner. The othergoes to my hub. I can access all files, printers, drives and internet between my PC and laptop. With Mac I can only access the internet. I am trying to access through TCP/IP. On the PC I have Client forMicrosoft Networks, File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks andInternet Protocol (TCP/IP) running. I have sharing enabled and I havedisconnected the firewall. On the Mac I have File sharing on and Web Sharing on. I can access the web address with internet explorer to the Mac. It shows the Apache disclamer. I cannot access files. I am onlyable to get Internet access from my network by Using DHCP. I do nothave Ppoe, AppleTalk or anything on Proxies on.

I've been trying to figure this out too. So this is just a bump hoping someone who knows will respond.
