I have a 2G 10gb which I love, and my wife loves her 4gb mini. I'd always thought of the shuffle as the runt of the litter and regularly berated it. But at the weekend I saw a great deal on a refurb 512mb shuffle for £29 and I decided to give it a whirl, if only to have one for the car that I didn't have to treat with kid gloves.

I love this thing!! The Autofill feature works like a charm, the sound quality is superb, and I love the fact it's so robust. It fills up pretty quickly via USB2, and I can now see why the 'shuffle' aspect is such fun, as opposed to the gimmick I'd thought it was in the past.

Anyone else bought a shuffle expecting not to like it? I know I'm late to the party but hey, a bargain led me here and I'm glad it did.

I bought one for my girlfriend one time as a spontaneous gift, and she loves it.

I've got a 20GB iPod Colour, but didn't want to take it to the gym with me, or out running so I bought a shuffle.

Don't use it a huge amount, but worth having none the less.

My boss gave me one as a summer bonus. GF currently has it, so I don't get to use it much

I know everyone is going to laugh at me, but I saw a shuffle for first time today… it is cooler that I would expect from Apple site picts, even when I have an iPod Video I think the shuffle has a cool factor being so small…

BTW, they were side by side with some iPod nano counterfeits, those iPod nano imposters come also in black boxes… LOL

The Shuffle is great for yard work or while washin' the car. Anywhere when I don't wanna have my "real" iPod exposed to the elements. Love it!

I find my shuffle handy to have around now and then, but it gets used very little. It was an impulse buy that I probably should have not made.

It's cool for what it is though, I just find my Nano to be 100x more useful for my needs.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I've had my Shuffle for about a year, and have enjoyed it. It is my only iPod and is perfect for my uses. But it seems to have gotten kind of tempermental. Sometimes it doesn't seem to want to respond to my inputs.
