i have an iBook G3 running 10.4.8, or at least it WAS running that... now it's got the dreaded blinky question mark and i was told to try to boot from dvd... but i don't know how.
Really simple: Put the disc in the optical drive and hold down the 'C' key while the iBook is looking for the startup drive. That'll cause it to boot from the CD/DVD drive.
