Here's a quick series of pix of my new Powerbook 17. Check out a close-up of the Powerbook hinge! Compare and contrast with the PB 12! And oooh and aaah over the IN-THE-DARK shot of the lit keys!

Thanks! The last shot is hilarious. Looks like someone Photoshopped the 17" on that picture (just floating in midair) and screwed up the scale. It looks REALLY big, in a good way!

AMAZING PICTURES!!!!!! That last pic is a true classic! My HEAVENS that thing is BIG!!!

Ahh you can't help but comment on such incredible shots...it's easy to find the pics, either you see them, or you see BLUE lines in which you click on...simple

I know that picture makes the PB 17 look big. Well, it really IS. Now, realize I've been wandering around lately with the 12-inch model, so even a TiBook would seem large. But I've had a TiBook for two years now, and when I sit down with the 17-incher, I actually feel like MiniMe. The way I describe it to friends is to say it's *gratuitously* big, meaning it's more size than you probably need in a laptop, but who could possibly resist. ;-)
