Although we've known about the Boston Flagship Apple store for some time now, a recent hour of boredom led to me to ifoapplestore.com (A quick MacNN search shows it's not as obscure as I thought, apperently it was just for me).

On there, they have a web cam of the construction of the new Apple flagship store. So far, since February, they've just been puching dirt around at the site. Actually they've been carefully removing the old foundation at the site.

My timing on finding this seems to be good, because the it looks like any day now, actually construction is going to begin, and that of course is what we want to see.

Check it out here:
Birth Of An Apple Store

What led me to find this was the following Boston Globe article, discussing the debate of the design of this flagshio store.
Stained Glass? - The Boston Globe

If you'd like to see time lapse video of the site work, since it started in Feb, Look at these which are the first four days:

http://ifostore.cachefly.net/boston/day_one.mov
http://ifostore.cachefly.net/boston/day_two.mov
http://ifostore.cachefly.net/boston/day_three.mov
http://ifostore.cachefly.net/boston/day_four.mov

After that use the following code for the file name feb26.mov , mar3.mov , ect
Example:
http://ifostore.cachefly.net/boston/feb26.mov <--This is where it picks up

Obviously every five days there's no Video from the weekends so you'll have to jump two days ahead.

There's nothing exciting to see all through April and May, and June isn't working for me at all (both 'jun' and 'june').

The time lapse videos are made manaully and are updated about every two weeks it seems.

As I stated above, up until now they've just been "pushing dirt around" It's from this time forward that the interesting stuff will begin happening
