Is there a way to copy a disk image onto a hard drive? I want to boot from an OS 9 cd, and copy the image from the network onto the local drive. It would seem like Disk Copy could handle this, but it just does cd-burning. Thanks in advance!

with macos 9 you dont have to use a image really at all. Image the drive, then boot from CD and copy the contents in the image after you mount it over to the new hard drive. Just dont forget to bless the system folder, IE open it up and close it or to be real safe open it remove the finder then put it back. That will add the important boot sector info to make the drive boot. Only thing that might not get copied over is any hidden files, but that shouldnt be a problem really. Oh and always a good idea to rebuild your desktop database after doing all that.
