My Apple TV has worked like a champ for the last five months. I came home today wanting to check the trailer site and I noticed my Apple TV was no longer connected to the network. I tried to reconnect, even restoring the unit to factory settings. The unit sees the Apple wireless router that it normally connects to, but it will not connect. I get an error message each time. I have reset the Apple router, the Apple TV and the computer associated with the ATV. Nothing is working...anyone?
Note, the Apple router is working fine and all of the other devices connected to it are running fine. It is an ATV only issue.

I was going to try that...but I am running into a logistics issue. I have my routers in a room with no TV, no way to connect and see.

hmm...I thought I'd replied to this last night.
Try this:
- use kismac, airmoose, or similar from your Mac to scan the area for other wifi networks. Pay close attention to what channel they use, especially if they're on the same channel as your wifi point or an adjacent channel with strong signal strengths.
- change your wifi point to a different channel if you need to
- remove encryption and password protection from your wifi point
- rename it to something else
This will remove a number of factors so that you can see whether your ATV connects now with fewer troubleshooting variables.
