Hey i sent you an email, but in case you can't check it i worte this:

I have a Rev-C iMac i would trade you:

IMAC (GRAPE)
266MHZ/128MB SDRAM/6G IDE HD/24X CD/6MB SGRAM/56K MODEM/512K CACHE/10-100BASE-T
MODEL: A102-1557
8.5.1 MACOS
PROCESSOR: POWERPC G3
CLARIS WORKS...PLUS MORE SOFTWARE
PLUS IMATION SUPERDISK USB DRIVE FOR MACINTOSH
WITH THE FOLLOWING CDs:
IMAC SOFTWARE RESTORE
IMAC SOFTWARE INSTALL
WILLIAMS-SONOMA - A GUIDE TO GOOD COOKING
QUICKEN DELUXE 98
ADOBE PAGE MILL 3.0
KAI'S PHOTO SOAP SE
WORLD BOOK (2 DISKS)

I WILL ALSO INCLUDE THE BOOK: MAC SECRETS--5TH EDITION W/CD-ROM

This is one of the imacs that can be upgraded to a faster g3 or g4 processor, it has the ATI rage pro chip, not the Rage II lt or whatever, so you wouldactually see a performance increase. if you can use it, have a 32mg sodimm that was a pull from this imac i can give to you (right now it has 2-64mg). LMK if you're interested.

Good try there, Lothar. Couldn't hurt to ask though, huh? On the B&W front though, a friend of mine just sold his for 1000 bucks including monitor. He used the cash to pick up a new Pismo 400 (traded in his old, dead 5300). Your iBook would go for about 800 on eBay and you should be able to get a nice B & W or a killer G3 desktop (beige) for that much.

I'm upgrading a friends Beige and it really is a wonderful machine that's VERY upgradable. I'm putting in a FireWire/USB card next monday.

Well, I don't have a desktop. But I thing if you sold it now, and then just bought a B&W it would probably work better. Not many people that have a B&W want a iBook they want either a G4 or a TiBook.
