Just a quick one regarding bookmarks (or "Favorites" as they are called): Is there a simple way of getting them form IE5 PC to IE5 Mac?

There's an import function in IE. You have to open the Organize Favorites option, and then the import command is available in the File menu. Are the two computers connected somehow?

No not connected. I have just collected heaps of bookmarks at work, and want them on my PowerBook at home.

OK, then why don't you export the favorites file from the Windows machine--I don't know the Windows interface, but imagine that the option is also in the File menu. That'll put a document on your desktop that you can email to yourself at home and then import into your PB's IE.

Isn't life great when things work? Too bad it's so seldom that it happens
