I'm running OS 9.0 on a Motorola Starmax 3000/240. A Microtek Scanmaker E3+ is connected to the SCSI port. It worked fine while using OS 8.1, however, after installing OS 9.0 nothing connected to the SCSI port shows up. A SCSI terminator is properly connected to the scanner. Can anyone help?

I don't know for sure but from what I remember Apple doesn't support clones anymore in MacOS 9, Maybe that's the reason here.

I would suggest using a SCSI Sentry II active terminator from APS. Check to see if there is info on Starmax and OS 9 on macfixit, xlr9yourmac etc.
