I read on Apple's technical specifications website that the Power Mac 8100/110 has 8 memory slots that must be filled in groups of two. I don't mind that, but I am a bit leery of buying a bunch of 64 MB cards before I know they will work. Apple's site says that it can take a maximum of (8) 32 MB cards.

My question:
Has anyone gotten 64 MB cards to work in an 8100, or am I just better off buying a load of 32 MB cards? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi!
www.lowendmac.com says that the 8100 won't recognize more than 32MB per module. They also say this about the 7100, and I can partly confirm this (mine recognizes the 64MB modules as 16MB). So I would go for 32MB ones.
