Thanks for the comment! I was under the impression that black menus weren't possible without ShapeShifter because the text colours can't be changed. If you know otherwise please explain how and I'll get a non-SS version out.

You have made my day! I've been hanging around on this forum looking for somehting just like this. This theme is practically perfect! Well done, thank you very much!

I was wondering though... I don't know if you'd be up to this, and I can understand if you aren't, but have you thought about releasing maybe different color variants? Like right now when you select something in the menubar its silverish grey, do you think you'd release variants with different color selections like green, blue, etc.? Maybe make the apple colored to match? Only in the menubar and when selecting things. I think doing more might take away from the style. If I didn't suck, and I knew how, I'd do it myself.

Thanks for making such a wonderful black theme!

Sorry, I don't know. I have no theming experience unfortunately. Using Iridium myself now, with its own installer, and no-longer using SS, hence my question. Still, you've made an amazing theme I think.

Very nice theme.

Nice enough that I reinstalled SS to use it.

I have never liked dark themes until now. This one is kickass, good job with it.

DVD Player won't open with this theme selected and ShapeShifter active. Any ideas?

Edit: So far DVD Player won't launch on 3 computers, 2 Powerbooks and one G5, all of them running 10.4.4 It says Error: 'nilP'

I am fixing the DVD Player problem plus a couple of minor glitches - look for version 1.01 within a couple of days.

I know you were planning on fixing the error yourself, but Shapeshifter 2.3 fixes the DVD player error.

Hey what's the deal? I wanted the glossy pinstripes in this preview-->http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/2671/234xy.png. All I see on the download page is a solid dull black version.

Yeah, the glossy pinstripes are part of the SnapShooter border I used.

Sorry, just the 'solid dull black version' here.

PS: Updated to 1.01. Enjoy!

When I saw that BV preview with the fancy Snapshooter border/mask I literally thought something along the lines of: "whoa I haven't seen a theme that nice in a long time - it could be up there with SiRO". Turns out the theme isn't actually the same as what was shown in the preview. (It's since been replaced with an true, untouched screenshot.)

I don't mean to take away from the cool theme you made, siMac, but I was kind of disappointed when I realized there wouldn't be any glossy-pinstriped-old PowerMac-looking titlebars on my dektop.

I guess all I can do is pray that this 1.01 update will include my variation. (Yes I know I could also do it myself-don't give me a link to ThemePark-but I just don't have the attention span for it.)

(dreaming again )

In case you missed it, here is what I've been blathering about:
