I am trying to buy a used macbook pro so its time to clear out my stuff.

The mini is a core 2 duo 1.83 with a combo drive and a 80 gig harddrive. I still have the box and all the original software. its running a clean install of leopard. $450 you pay shipping.

I got a couple of powerbooks from trades on craigslist.

The first is a 15 inch powerbook ti 800mhz with 1 gig of ram. The powerbook runs fine, but doesn't have sound. I looks like someone stuck something into the headphone jack. The left hinges will need to be replaced. and the unit has some paint coming off exposing the black underneath. The battery holds a charge and is good for about 45-1 hour. passed the hardware test at capital mac. I have used this book a bit for work and had no issues with it. Its running leopard now but will have a clean install of 10.4 for the sale. $200 shipped.

The second is a 12 inch aluminum powerbook. Its got 768 ram and 40 gig harddrive. It has a superdrive installed. The battery is dead, I had a working battery for it, but I sold it to buy gas a few months ago. The only issue with this machine is the left palm rest is worn from being used. I am asking $350 for this unit shipped.

if anyone buys the mini and the 12 inch powerbook for the asking price I will provide free shipping ground ups and throw in the ti book for free.
I can email pics from my iphone for all the units. just send me a mail

Does that Mini with the (I think) standard 1GB RAM? When did you get it?

I'd be interested in this machine, particularly if we can arrange expedited shipping -- got a Mini that's DOA here, and would love to be able to get and buid a new one on/by the weekend if possible even given the holiday.

Ebay is a good alternative is you're willing to:

- brave the risk... (lots of scams and scammers)
- have the patience (time to list and wait for auction and payment, etc)

But you'd probably get more money for your equipment there. most people on the forums expect to be able to get a pretty good deal and are quite knowledgeable.
