I've read a bunch of threads on this and other forums on getting connecting OS X to an NFS server, but I've been unable to get it working. I've tried using both Debian (Sarge) and FreeBSD 4.10 with the same dismal results.

So, if anyone has gotten NFS serving from Linux or FreeBSD to work, could you perhaps post a few words on potential stumbling blocks?

I've tried all sorts of variations on my rc.conf file, and the /etc/exports file.

I'm really getting frustrated here.
