So I guess my heroin-addicted uncle would have been better off dying instead of recovering and becoming a born-again Christian eh?
Prick.

I guess you are not quite old enough to hit that sage in life where many people think bad things can not to them. In a couple of years when you hit puberty, maybe you will get it.
The world is full of people that make mistakes. Why is their life so worthless to deserve death for making them?

Uh oh. Now this thread has been primed for conversion to a religious thread.

Thats some nasty... piss. I've had meth in some rolls a few times, sucked!! up for 2 days and had a totally bugged out gross feeling, also the only time I can remember wanting more. Ecstasy never did that on its own.

Pick on my sig, nice. You're mad now because my opinion differers from yours. How sweet. I'll remove my sig so you don't have a breakdown....
First off, it would take a lot more than that to get me angry.
Second, that's pretty sad that you can't see redeeming qualities in other human beings. People.Make.Mistakes. Are you so perfect that you have never made one? I highly doubt that. Nice thing about mistakes is that people usually learn from them. Sometimes it takes a while, but it can happen.
Third, I don't need to pick on your sig because I don't agree with you. You seem to be perfectly capable of sticking your own foot in your mouth.

Perhaps a Waterworld photo is appropriate. I can not think of a thread more worthy of derailment than this one.

That's pretty funny! I'm 48 by the way.
Because they KNEW the consequences BEFORE they make their choice and STILL went a head and did it anyway. Knowing full well the outcome. It's Nature's way of dealing with it.
We all make mistakes, but THOSE kind of "mistakes" DON'T HAVE TO BE MADE and those "mistakes" effect not only the individual but their friends and families too.
This is one hell of a liberal board here....

That is besides the point. Of course those mistakes "don't have to be made", but you still did not answer the question. Why do they deserve to die?

So they don't hurt OTHER people, get other people involved or hooked on the stuff. It also costs a lot of money and time to try to rehab these morons. Then the majority of them go back to it anyway. If kids see these clowns dying left and right MAYBE it'll help keep them away from it.
I'm all for the schools bringing kids to morgues where they can REALLY see what drugs and drunk drivers do to themselves and innocent people. A real reality check.
Some of you don't get it, that's o.k.

I think that "shock therapy" would be quite effective, however, good luck getting parents to allow it.
Still, that's a pretty broad generalization to imply they all should die.

Oh I get it. great idea Anyone who abuses drugs should be lined up and shot. Heck shoot their families and offspring while we are at it. After a few generations of this we will not have a problem anymore. We could even pay for the cost of the program by turning it into a reality TV show. If there many more people like you who would "like to see them die" then they could sell lots of tickets.

LOL, I love when people overreact when they debate! This is about meth but yeah, heroin users need to take a dirt nap too. The rest of your tryp I'll ignore...

See what I mean? LOL!
I'll give you my drug history, no problem. One hit off a joint at age 18, got sick 15 minutes later and was sick for 3 days afterwords.
Rush is a dildo. I'm a realist.

You sure that was weed? Ok so now you've admitted to us you are naive about drugs you can leave this discussion.

You are HARDLY a realist.

The reaction was in proportion to your stupid statements. Drug users deserved death and the you rather enjoyed the idea. Who is the extremist? Anyone who values life as you do worries me.
I object to the abuse of drugs, and have ingested less of the stuff than you. I am not a liberal. I agree with Kevin, you make us conservatives look bad.
It is apparent to some of us that the current war on drugs is not working. While my conservative side would prefer we stop spending any money on this issue, I would settle for cutting it in half and spending it on prevention and rehabilitation. I believe that would be significantly more effective. Your thinking in absolutes declares every one of them as worthless and not deserving a chance at redemption.

Did it also ever occur to you that some of the people on this board may have had loved ones that have struggled with drug addiction? How would you feel if it was your child that had a drug problem?
Oh, I forgot you probably don't have kids because you are incapable of a long term relationship.
