Just noticed the stick of 256 that came out of my mini was PC3200, thought that they were supposed to be PC2700. I assume that is was still running at 333mhz as from what I read that is what the mobo supports.

The PC3200 works fine of course, but still runs at 333 MHz in the mini. (Actually more like 167 MHz, since the G4 in the mini doesn't directly support DDR.)

PC3200 and faster will work since those DIMMs are backwards compatible. The PC3200 was probably placed in there due to economies of scale, that is PC3200s are being made in larger quantities than the old PC2700 line.

Kind of what i figured finding PC2700 1gig DIMM out side of ebay has been a pain so I was going to end up getting a PC3300 stick instead.

Appleinsider noted that Apple will use PC3200s in the mini if it can't get PC2700.
