Warung, and what was the flamebait? The sentence YOU RESPONDED TO.
And you call me dense.
"Your momma"?

Ermmm the 90s just called, - they want their jokes back.
I was just matching wit with wit
Where in your earlier posts did you talk about "temptation"?...You sound like a religious zealot...oh...wait.
Anyway:
More silliness.
Your stay at the PL will be a short one I am sure.

Are you trying to say "It's not just me not getting it"?
I dunno. But you're certainly one of those who isn't getting it.
This is getting tidious...

You mean another thread where my fanboys couldn't show restraint.
If you are going to complain, at least be honest.
Besides the "Flame Zimphire till he replies, then blame him for the derail" tactic is an old one.
The mods don't buy it anymore. Been used WAY too many times over the past few years.
Sorry.

*Bump*
Go right ahead, if Wikipedia really has that many flaws and errors, I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard, even for you, to find at least 10 or 20.

The problem with sites like Wikipedia is it's not information be expertise, it's infromation by mob mentality. Everyone in the world can edit it and add to it. That's fine, except that most people don't know what they are talking about. Generally, not a problem, those who know contribute to things they know about.
However there are plenty of thigns which the mob thinks are correct that aren't. Urban legends are a good example. There are many of them that most people believe to be true when indeed they are not.
The problem on Wikipedia is if someone who is an actual expert comes and corrects something like this, the mob will change it back, because they all believe it to be correct. Wikipedia is basically a democratic kind of truth. The more people that believe something, the more likely it is that's what Wikipedia will say on teh subject.
However truth is independant of popularity. Science is NOT a democracy, and just because a lot of people believe something, doesn't make it so.
Basically, just take what you read on Wikipedia with a grain of salt, espically for the real technical things. It's good for general information, but I'd never rely on it for details.

Not necessarily denying this, but you keep prattling on without providing any examples.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the word Wiki? It just looks stupid and sounds stupid! Damn, couldn't they have come up with a better name?
