Hey guys, this is a video that I just threw together called "The Evolution of The Macintosh."
If you have any suggestions for improvement, please tell me because I would like to improve it.

The beginning shows way too much of the actual 1984 commercial.
There is too much talking and other scenes, you should have it mostly, if not all, focused on macs.
Why end with the iPhone in such a lame dramatic fashion? it's not a mac, it's a separate product and it doesn't seem right to end with just the iphone when the rest is just macs
other than than i think it's a pretty good idea, i just think being more mac-centric would be pretty cool

Was that guy lecturing to the class from an actual Apple commercial? He was so motivational, it was almost scary.

Yes, he was from an actual apple ad called "Industrial Revelation."
Ending with the iPhone is supposed to say "This is how far the technology has come," because the iPhone was such a thunderous achievement after 30 years of developing technology. Who cares that it isn't a Mac? For one, it runs a version of OS X, and secondly, Apple has been focusing a lot on it for the past 2 and a half years. Although I will say that your feeling about it isn't completely unjustified. It does feel a little random and out of the blue right at the end of the video like that.. but i'm not sure what I should do instead.
The music was Chevaliers De Sangreal, by Hans Zimmer.

It would have felt less random if there had been mentions of the Newton and the iPod earlier in the video. And call it the "Evolution of Apple," not the Macintosh.

It was originally called Evolution of Apple, but I realized it was mostly focused on the Macintosh, and I also realized that the iPhone is sort of a Mac in it's own right, so I figured it would be okay to called it Evolution of the Macintosh.

Well, if anything I bought the soundtrack to The Da Vinci Code. I've been so behind on soundtracks.

Hey. Not bad kid. The iPhone was a bit anticlimactic though. Especially since you don't show the actual product.

Thanks! I'll probably update the video once the Mac Pro gets redesigned, and i'll add footage of that to the end instead of the iPhone...

And I can't believe how much those poor kids were being brainwashed! Why weren't they at home getting a proper education?

It's funny how a company with "only" 5-10% of the market has so much influence over the market. The other 95% of the entire computing market holds its collective breath during Apple's keynote at Macworld, just so they can know what cool is. Then in true Microsoft fashion, they fire up those photocopiers and you get Apple knockoffs from every major and minor vendor in the industry.

You're trying to draw a parallel between this video, and a part of a video that I made in the past, that you didn't understand.
The past is the past. People, unlike, oh I dunno... tectonic plates, evolve at a pace that the human eye can see.

HEY! I was the one that was trying to draw the parallel! Give credit where credit is due!

People evolve that fast? We can see it? What about dogs? Can I sit and watch one evolve?
I am watching my 2 year old right now... should I look for fins, wings, or gills first?

I hope he doesn't get that multiple personality mutation. Peter Patrelli type of evolution would be cool, as long as he's not annoying as Peter.

Not bad, but the beginning 1984 ad is a bit long.
