Ok, so how do I do it? I don't think it can be done in Quicktime. BBdemux works like scat, so tell me folks, how can I do this?

Here's what a I need to do..

I have a typical MPG1 clip that I'd like to be able to edit in Quicktime then send that over to IDVD for burn. Realizing that when I export the MPG file to quicktime, it doesn't bring the audio along with it, only the video. So what do I do pros? There has to be a simple way to do this. And no, I refuse to capture audio output to a tape recorder or something similar and integrate it back in. I'm just adding that in so I don't get any cheap answers. Thanks.

I think BBDemux only separates the MPEG-1 Audio/Video and doesn't convert it. Unfortunately, I've wanted to do this very thing and don't have a solution .

BBdemux will give you a ".mpa" file which most likely is actually an MPEG-1 Layer II file (i.e. an ".mp2" file). SoundApp, possibly iTunes, and plenty of other programs should be able to open/convert it with no problems...

BBdemux should work great. Used it many times. Export the video in QT pro and use SoundApp in classic. iTunes won't handle the file...yet.

Can someone provide a link to BBdemux? I need to do something similar to milhous. In the meantime I'll keep looking around. Thanks
