Barr Seeks to Fire U.S. Attorney Who Investigated Trump Associates
A late Friday move by Barr to remove a thorn in his master's paw.

That attorney is refusing to step down until a replacement is approved by congress. Interestingly enough, this was a Trump appointee.

This might need it's own thread. Trump is trying to stop investigations into himself, his family, and friends. It's blocking justice.

Trump has since denied he did the firing. Barr doesn't have the authority to fire him. So either:

A) Trump fired him, then lied to the press.

B) Trump told the truth. Wow. Barr lied about the firing to get the guy to quit.

Late Saturday Berman stepped down, after Barr apparently agreed to appoint Berman's second in command, rather than do a senate confirmation of a Trump lackey. Oddly enough, Lindsay Graham said he wouldn't push for the lackey's confirmation if the NY senators disagreed with it, which of course they did.

Trump either a) doesn't know what's going on, or b) is trying to pass the buck to Barr.

Who's driving the bus that keeps running people over?

Remember when the GOP freaked out about the Attorney General meeting someone in front of a plane …
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

The president and the attourney general talking directly might lead to some kind of favoritism or something.
