"Police responded with three cars and a helicopter after the 11-year-old threw a stone at a group of boys who rode by on their bikes and pelted her and her brother with water balloons."

Dumb... this is what happens when it's no longer OK to just call the other kid's parents and have them reem out their kid.

It is disappointing how the police responded. Maybe a simple visit from a single officer would have done the trick and gotten the point across to the kids involved.

You never know what kind of 911 call got them involved though.

I tried to call 911 to report a simple tresspassing and I got a lot of static so I just hung up. Two squad cars came screeching with lights flashing and sirens blaring in seconds because they didn't know what to expect.

I don't thinkk this is the first time it's been posted here [insert timeline], and it probably won't be the last.

Throwing a two pound rock that strikes someone in the head is a serious crime indeed.

Would have been more interesting if she actually "escaped" the trial. Like if she crawled through the air vents, killed 3 court officers(with stones), jumped a fence, and stole a car for a quick get away.

In a later interview she'd state with a blank stare on her face: "I just wanted to see those officers bleed..and screem...Now the voices have silenced" Muahahaaa.

Have you been touched by his noodly appendage?

"Assault with a deadly weapon"... guess then that we've all been there as kids. So did that kid Vang get charged with anything?

Hopefully at 11 years old this decision will be enough to turn her life around. Both acts were stupid.
