I recently installed the OS X on my iMac, but it looks I can't connect to the net (via internal modem and IE 5.1). I noticed that when I launch the Network Setup dialog, it comes up with a default password for ISP connection that is not the right one (I understand it because of the different lenght). I duly delete the fake PW and write down my one, but when I click to save, the default (wrong) PW appears again. I tried to erase the related preferences to rebuild them, but they cannot be destructed. I suspect it can have something to do with my old subscription to iTools, or maybe with the root PW, but can't figure no remedy.
Can someone help me?
Thank you
