hi.
i'm wanting to register with ebay, when i click 'register' it tells me 'safari cant verify the identity of ...might be connecting to website pretending to be...could put your donfidential info at risk..' - thats using Safari 2.0.3
with IE5 it says 'unable to establish a secure connection..etc'
you reckon its ok to go ahead and register?
also, once i register, can i use my username etc with both ebay.com and ebay.co.uk ?

Can you connect to other secure sites just fine?
And yes, your eBay username will work just fine on both eBay.com and eBay.co.uk sites.

a security message popped up when i clicked on 'my account' at godaddy, i emailed them and they said theyd updated their security certificate or something, and my browser - safari - was probably the reason, and it was ok to logon.
this one though is doing it with both safari and IE. i dont think ive had it with other sites - im not sure what sites to try - its not a prob to get into my email for example or my bank.

Perhaps clicking Reset Safari under the Safari menu will work?
You will loose all your cookies, cache, and internet history if you do this however. That's not such a big deal.
