****in' ace! That's sleek! Not much for bikes, but that's a god damn fine piece of machinery. Good job, congrats.

Nice.

I want one too.

In fact I'd get one if I had a place to park it, and if Toronto drivers weren't so damn nuts. (I had an ancient Yamaha Seca 550 at one point but got rid of it because I don't trust the local drivers.)

Impressive, me want one too! How much is it?

Bikes are expensive in Hong Kong because we need to pay 40% tax for the purchase. After tax the CBR600RR is priced at around $11,380 USD ($88,800 HKD)

Yup yup... drivers in Toronto are crazy. Especially those reckless chinese kids from Hong Kong, they think their bimmers are invincible...

Dude, you suck! Ok, I'm just hating you because you got that beautiful bike. But my god for $11,380 USD? Good Lord, for that price here in the US, you could get your choice of the R1 or GSXR 1000. But I digress. Congrats on your new machine. Btw, from what I understand of Hong Kong it's fairly crowded over there. Is there plenty of room for you to "fully exercise" the power of the 600RR (ahem...hit the triple digits on the speedometer). Man, I like it! Damn, material things to seduce me. Hehehe.

Yeah roads are narrow and crowded in the city area but once you head north for 10 mins or so roads are wide open in the newly develped area.

Generally roads are a bit more bumpy here because we have all the pipes and stuff hidden under the road and once they're broken, we dig. After years of digging and refilling the roads in the city area are pretty much ****ed up. However in the sububran area it's a totally different story, roads were layed 400-highway standard. ;-)

At this point the bike difinitely owns me. It will probably take me 2 years or so until i can feel so comfortable tossing the metal around. Anyway, i can wait... picking it up this coming Friday~! hohoohoho....

Man I'm jealous!!

A 600RR...a sweet, sweet bike! I rode one when it was released and was very imprerssed... I was so tempted to get one complete with Rossi rep paint, but had second thoughts at the last minute as I really want a Ducati. However i have regretted waiting every time I see a 600RR blaze past me!

(I'm going for a 996/998 in a few weeks time... I just can't resist that bike!)

Enjoy it!!

Peace,

Marc

Man~ you know the Ducati 999 is actually my dream bike... but there is no way i can afford it... and i know just the 600RR is too powerful for me to start with so let's forget about the 1L Ducati..

But in the future... Ducati is a MUST.

WTF? Hong Kong? Drivers are even crazier there. I wouldn't even consider a motorcycle there. Is this a first bike? If so, consider taking a bike driving course if you haven't already done so. Very useful.

BTW, the bimmer kids don't bother me as much as the fake Type R Honda Civic types with home made spoilers and neon. Those guys really irritate me.

So I ride this bike instead:

After my upgrades, I'd guess it's only about 9 kg.

Box up your bike and take it to Scotland. we have the best roads for bikes in the world. It's so hard not to be tempted to get your knee down

Nice bike BTW. I have the CBR600FV. I'm tempted by the new Triumph 955i

Agreed right now, but only because I'm not old enough to drive.

YOU ARE AN @SSH0LE!!!!

Soon as that bastard 600RR was introduced, I knew I wanted one (ever since I had my 250 Ninja in high school, as soon as I'm out of the midwest United States and away from the snow... gonna give Honda a call). I despise you for having more fun than me. I'm swimming over to your side of the pond (I'm half way) for a test run. Man. Oh, and yeah, Ducati is about the only thing I'd also rather have... lived in Rome for 8 months, they're everywhere... hear 'em coming down the street, purring like a tiger, jeeeeezzzzuuuhhhssss, I almost have to change my pants.

have fun

And yeah, i will definitely follow the rule...

you can't get in trouble if you're not caught... mwahahaha me thinks, a 600RR should be enough to get you not caught. if you lose your license though, mail me the bike, I'll take care of it for a year.
