Waited in line for 6 hours. Could've even been shorter, I was near the middle of the line. Apple actually paid local places around them to bring us free coffee, bottled water, pizza, cookies, etc. It was very cool. Everyone there was really having a good time. Got to use the Apple Store's WiFi network on our laptops. It was like a big party once they opened the doors.
Would I do it all over again? Hell yes. I actually had a really good time.

I don't wait, I just came around 8pm and they still few left, I changed my mind not getting it. And look at craigslist, people are selling this for around $800 and up, what's up with those people???? I feel sorry for them. it's only a phone!!! I even can't read clearly the safari there on iPhone, yes it's nice feature but common now are we really desperate to connect to internet?. Anyway the buzz is off now for me, nothing special apple, sorry but the iPhone is not for me, not just yet.

its not that people are desperate to connect to the internet, or that any of this was essential. lots of new products aren't "essential". the fact is that apple is pushing the industry forward in a positive and stylish way. people want the iphone because its a Cool, fun, new product. its a slick phone, ipod, and yes it does have the full internet as a plus.
(oh and if you cant read safari clearly, try zooming in, it helps.)
