Something I have been looking for a while for is the ability on the Mac to turn off the image compression that many cell providers put on when you are using a 3G/HSDPA wireless connection.

I have just switched to Vodafone after being with T-Mobile for quite a while and their image compression is much heavier.

So luckily, I just found ByteMe Optimizer. Whilst active, if completely turns off all image compression.

Woo hoo! Should work for most cell network providers (not just the UK) as ByteMobile.

Just thought I would share the knowledge.
