The new iMacs look boring and dull, As a 14 y/o, I want a girly-looking iMac (since i'm a girl) I want Apple to bring back the CRT imacs because those were the best.
Cute, huh?

Sadly they were bulky and heavy to ship and much more dangerous to work on. Maybe you should try colorware:
ColorWare
They don't seem to do iMacs though.

I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

I don't want the CRT iMacs back, but I am sort of getting tired of all the aluminum. Some color options would be nice, although I think the multicolored Macs sold poorly.
|
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

I just want a 27" with a LOWER pixel density, or else better use of high pixel densities by OS X, and I'd like some sort of user adjustability for height. I'm currently using a 3rd party mount for my 27" iMac, and have Safari zoomed somewhat to make this 27" iMac seem more ergonomic in terms of the screen height and the text size.
Not very impressive for a product from Apple, which prides itself on user-friendliness.
For my next iMac purchase, if Apple still has the same hardware+software/OS limitations I'd consider just getting a 21.5" iMac, which has a lower pixel density and a shorter screen height. That is if they still have a similar product at that time.
Oh and I kinda like the aluminum, but yeah, even ignoring my concerns above, it's time for a form factor update even just to change the look a bit.
No flower power though please.

So is spam coming in the form of novelty accounts now? I thought that was more of a Reddit thing...

Oh, I'm not here for spamming, I just love those imacs so much. I myself hate spam.

But there are lots of decal options for macbooks on etsy etc that are much cheaper!

It would be cool if there was an option where, before you purchase your mac, you could customize it to fit your personality.

It's called colorware. They'll paint anything any way you want it. Pricey though.

I miss the days of Apple doing really cool stuff with their computer designs.
The iMac is getting so, so, so stale. I loved the colors of the old G3 iBooks and iMacs, and you really cannot beat the design of the G4 iMac...

There's some really nice laser etching going on with the MBP's -- I don't see anybody having attempted it on an iMac, yet. I wonder if they're just to big to fit into the etching equipment?
