LOS ANGELES - Hotel heiress and “The Simple Life” reality TV star Paris Hilton is engaged to her boyfriend, Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, her spokesman said Monday.

“They are happy and excited,” said Hilton spokesman Rob Shuter, confirming the story first reported on People magazine’s Web site.

Latsis, 27, proposed to Hilton, 24, on Wednesday after she returned from a three-week publicity tour in Europe to promote her horror flick “House of Wax” and her new fragrance.

“I’m so in love and grateful to have found such an honest and loyal person,” Hilton told Us Weekly magazine. “I feel like we were meant to be, and I’m happy to have found someone to spend the rest of my life with.”

RAILhead, the only problem with the picture you posted is that I KNOW right after that she gave the photographer her "I'm so darn rich and gorgeous™" look that makes me want to hurl. She doesn't smile, she sneers. Too bad, because she could be pretty darn good looking.

PH's star is about to implode. she went too high too fast without any obvious talent to keep her aloft.

people cheered when they killed her in her last movie according to the CNN article.

i predict what will hurt her is the backlash when nobody likes her anymore. she f*cked all those guys when she was a teen to taste celebrity and now that she has had it these last few years it will be tough to go back. even if her star doesn't burst immediately, she can't sing or act so when her looks go down the drain or a New Hotness™ comes in to replace her... look for her to OD on cocaine or something.

i think she's pretty. but as of right now she is kind of like an "it" girl. whatever reason she is one... she is one. she's certainly prettier than either lindsay lohan or hilary duff. these other 2 have other redeeming qualities though.
