I would really love to know where/when/what that clip was! It was either very bad sideline management at a track meet, or one VERY lost competitor and one VERY focused runner. Either way, it looks both cool and painful!

It looks like a long jump and she was obviously looking at another event occurring at the same time or
she was looking at a monitor that displays scores... Either way, they were both very focused. He was focused on the right thing, and she was focused on the wrong thing at the time.

I love the guy in the back-left who seems to be yelling "Woooow!"

Now there's a blonde joke in there, I just know it!

Yeah. "Woooow".

The truth is, the guy running down the track is counting his steps and gauging the proper launching point
for his jump. Why would he be looking for anyone crossing in front of him? He was that focused. Reverse that for the "dumb blond chick".

I just pray that she is alright. That was a powerful direct hit.

If you look at the expression on her face, you can tell she knows something is up.. but not what. That is, until it hits her. I want to know what parts of the body hit dead on - was it head to head, chest to head, etc.

i saw something very similar to this just last week, i was watching a minnesota twins game, someone from the twins hit a homerun into the left field stands...all the sudden you see this guy running down the row full speed trying to get the ball...he totally plows this chick who is just standing there. i felt bad for her but i still laughed.

Ouch! Did you see how her head snaps back? It looks like she took an upper cut to the chin.
