Hey, I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.
When I come into work and my powerbook has gotten cold form the walk from the car to the building, when I turn it on, the bottom of the screen is alot darker than the top, and as it warms up it slowely becomes normal.
Anyone know if this is just a function of the LCDs

AFAIK LCD's do tend to distort a bit when they get cold, though I'm not sure why the bottom would be a different color from the top... How cold is it where you live, and what kind of case are you using? Here in state college pennsylvania it gets quite cold in the winter months, and I've yet to have a problem with anything. Also, do you have your PB off or in sleep mode?

It was about 38 today, and I have a normal case, a free thing from my dads company, its not sealed on top, but has some decent padding. I keep it in sleep mode.
