I have a cue/bin file that has an SVCD mpg movie in it. I would like to know how to burn the file onto a CD using Toast (or even another burning program) so that I can play it in my SVCD-compatible DVD player.

Thanks
Zack

hehe I think its quite simple, (I think) set toast to disc image, then drop the .bim on the toast window

I have done this and had it work, sadly my dvd player can't play SVCDs. What kind do you have?

I just tried it. Didn't work. Maybe my prefs are not right. Any more suggestions?

Thanks

Right now there are a couple of solutions. You can extract the mpeg from the .bin and then make a toast image; or you can burn the bin and cue using cdrdao. Cdrdao is a cli app but a gui has been made for it. You can download it <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/rnc/.Public/MissingMediaBurner.sit" target="_blank">here</a>

The much longer process is outlined
<a href="http://www.sbpr.a.se/systemjammers/vcdtoolsx/svcd_tutorial.html" target="_blank">here</a>

If cdrdao works for you then there is no reason why you should have to use the other method. Good luck!

Don't have OS X at the moment. Can you explain how I would extract the mpegs from the bin?

Thanks
