heres a quip from an iTunes FAQ off the apple site that i found interesting:
"Q. Does iTunes work in Mac OS X?
A. The current version of iTunes will not work in Mac OS X. A future version of iTunes will fully support Mac OS X."

ok, maybe im paranoid or the untrusting type, but is this maybe saying theyre going to charge us for the mac OS X version? \

It will probably be in the Apple Extras folder of the retail install CD for OS X final. Apple wants to have as many toys ready to go as possible to encourage people to buy the new operating system. And since there ALREADY IS an OS X beta version of SoundJam (and since SoundJam was practically the first Altivec enhanced application) I'm sure they are very far along in a version of iTunes (SoundJam by any other name) that will work with the OS X final.
