A newly released survey by MasterCard Canada's 2006 Priceless Index indicates that a majority of Canadians polled have selected beer as their most priceless national beverage and Celine Dion as their most priceless Canadian star.
The Canadian flag is considered to be our most priceless symbol while regional divides differ on whether parkas or toques are the most distinctly Canadian clothing.

WTF?

our most priceless Canadian song (excluding the national anthem) was a toss-up between Stompin' Tom Connors' Hockey Song and Anne Murray's 1970 hit Snowbird at 5% each. Three songs tied for third place - This Land is Our Land, The Maple Leaf Forever and The Wreck of Edmund Fitzgerald.
Surprisingly, Celine Dion was chosen as Canada's most priceless star followed by Jim Carrey, Michael J. Fox and the late John Candy.
All I can say is I'm very glad we exiled dear Celine (and her freakazoid spouse) to the bowels of the US.

--while maple syrup came out on top as the most priceless Canadian food, beef/steak placed second and poutine came in third. There were regional variances however in our food choices with the Atlantic provinces choosing lobster as their most priceless Canadian food.
With all the all the lakes, you'd think fish would be popular, but then you have to remember that something like 90% of the population lives within 100 miles of the U.S. border.

Huh? I like Canada. Matter of fact, I am going against soon. I just thought this was funny.

Some of you are awefully touchy.

A crap load of anti-US posts and threads, but ONE silly Canadian joke thread and you get all your panties in a bunch.

Sheesh. I wonder how we Americans do it.

It is so true, for most Canadians the only way they can have fun is by getting drunk. Now just think about it in a town like Calgary, what else can you do but to get drunk. As for Celine Dion, she is the most overrated singer in the world and she is so extremely tacky.

I don't ignore Kevin because he disagrees with me. I ignore him because of his insulting language and generally offensive attitude.

After all, I read your posts, and haven't put you on ignore.

Holy crap, I think I'd shoot myself in the head before drinking beer & listening to Celine Dion & being proud of that and then openly admitting that to any living person. And being a Canadian on top of that ? Instant Suicide, no doubt about it.

Why do you think beer is so popular...ding-dong?

Anyway, she's locked away in a Las Vegas asylum.

Nothing wrong, nothing offensive.

That's your reply to a SERIOUS SMACKDOWN?!?!?

Flint and Detroit have influenced your way of life in more ways than you could possibly know. But then you're ignorant about France's reliance of the USA so I am hardly surprised.

lpk you put me on ignore because you came into this forum insulting us telling us you were going to "show us"

I waited around for you to do so. All you did was spout your personal biased opinion as fact. I pointed out as much. You got mad and put me on ignore.

If you had forgotten about the instance, I can show you.

It had nothing to do with a "offensive attitude"

Exactly. I honestly didn't expect the reaction I got. I guess certain people are more think skinned than they let on.

Rule 8 is only for the PL
