Great, another teaser like in 2002. Let's hope that this year though brings us better stuff.

Like, better than the new MacBook Pros etc? 24" iMacs? Duo Core powered iBooks? Come on now, 2006 was a pretty cool year.

Considering how overpriced and underpowered the 20th Ann. Mac was, I hope it is more than just a "fancy" Mac.

I'd rather it be something revolutionary like the iPod. Or better yet, a barrage of products.

Let the Apple Revolution begin!

I think he meant better than the flat panel G4 iMac that was the culmination of those teasers in 2002.

The only thing I see coming that they'd want to hype like this is a cell phone or perhaps a larger-screen video iPod.

There's never a live stream. There are live updates via other website and after it's over Apple posts the video on their site.

There used to be live streams, back in the day. Just so you know...

You're right that there haven't been any for a while now though.

There WERE.

If you are trying to say there will never AGAIN be live streams, how do you know ?

Genius pre-marketing. This means that they have another 30 years to release the cell phone. Or that it will happen when the Apple logo eclipses the sun.

Either way: see you all right here in 2037.

I used the 'is' verb to indicate present tense. I'm well aware that there used to be, and I'm not able to predict the future, so I can't say that there won't ever be.

What a luxury it is to be Apple!

1) Churn out some meaningless propaganda

2) Rumor mills and fans slobber

3) PR

4) Profit!

I wish I could put out a completely vague announcement like this that would have the same effect!

Someone once asked Quentin Tarantino, "You have so much freedom. You make all these cool movies and basically just get to do whatever you want. How can I get to that point?"

Tarantino replied, "Make Reservoir Dogs."

I don't think it is at all a hint at a 30th Anniversary mac or anything just marketing hype. Apple had such a good 2006 and now that the transition to Intel is complete and Apple is a household name they can really pumping out all the good stuff that takes over consumers homes/livingrooms.

I have no doubt that 2007 is going to be one of the best years for Apple.

I agree. I really don't think it's a 'teaser' or hint at something special coming to commemorate it.

Yeah, that's what I thought. "There's great stuff coming up, but you can't see it yet!" Not actually hinting at a specific product.

They wouldn't make a teaser about iTV when they have most all of its specs and announced it already. Although it wouldn't suprise me if it starts shipping after MacWorld.
