CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- President Hugo Chavez returned to his weekly radio and TV broadcast Sunday, extolling the ideals of socialist thinker Karl Marx and telling U.S. officials to "Go to hell!" for what he called unacceptable meddling in Venezuela's affairs.

Chavez defended his government's effort to establish a socialist model and rejected U.S. concerns over a measure to grant him broad lawmaking powers, saying: "Go to hell, gringos! Go home!"

No, we should stop buying their oil. It may just be worth the huge rise in gas prices to see this ******** beg for the US to come back.

*His conduct was poorly reported too, as there's no information of the context of his utterance and whether it was rethoric or an actual eviction order for Tom Casey. Can we revoke this reporter's journalistic license?

Chavez is a certifiable paranoid. Nothing he says means anything.

I know people from Venezuela and they had to leave before Chavez stopped people from leaving. They have told me of some of the things that have been going on that don't get reported and it is just amazing that this man is still in power. The people didn't vote this fool in anyway as they have unspeakable things happen to them when they vote against him. I really hope the world wakes up and sees that this man is doing things just as bad as others that have been taken out of power. Yes people are being jailed and killed for no reason at all except that they oppose him. I think soon he will face the music and he won't enjoy it much. If the US stopped buying oil and boycotted the citgo stations this would hurt the Venezuelan Government considerably.

As long as the US is a slave to foreign oil, we will be mostly impotent against the likes of Chavez, Putin and Ahmednejad.

There are some Venuzuelan women who are far too 'talented' to be killed. Ahem.

Preppies never wear socks with loafers, or any other shoes for that matter. Socks are hated.

I don't know whether to be relieved or frightened that even in this day and age, Bush has someone he can legitimately look down on.

Some more info on this one:

For some reason I can't cut and paste the text from the page but the last three paragraphs are pertinent.

I'm gonna buy as much Citgo as I can.
I'll help in depleating their reserves.
The sooner I depleate their reserves, the sooner the country falls.

Hey, 24 republicans voted for that bill.

40% of US carbon emissions comes from coal plants.
Gasoline is less than %20

While carbon dioxide is the principal greenhouse gas, methane is second most important. According to the IPCC, Methane is more than 20 times as
effective as CO2 at trapping heat in the atmosphere. US Emissions Inventory 2004 Levels of atmospheric methane have risen 145% in the last 100 years. Methane is derived from sources such as rice paddies, bovine flatulence, bacteria in bogs and fossil fuel production. Most of the world’s rice, and all of the rice in the United States, is grown on flooded fields. When fields are flooded, anaerobic conditions develop and the organic matter in the soil decomposes, releasing CH4 to the atmosphere, primarily through the rice plants. US Emissions Inventory 2004 (copied from an enviromental website)

That bill from the "us" is a punishment revenue generator.

It dosen't cover deforestation and warming caused by paving and concrete surfaces.
