Great stuff, Lerkfish, I never realised how much I really wanted to just slap Runnie's face, until now.

I think so, in this case. I'd have laughed if it was Kerry or Clinton done similarly.
Of course, that might be a difference between us.

Why the heck did you need to go and say that?

Look. He gave you fair warning that is was (humor) of a bipartisan nature.

So if you'd rather chuckle from the other side of the cheek, check out the cartoons Ted Rall did during the Clinton years. Some very funny stuff.

Until then, go dial-a-laugh or something.

Just because he SAID it was bipartisan doesn't MAKE IT SO. That's all I was pointing out. It isn't bipartisan.

LOL! well, then if it bothers you to this degree, simply post something just as funny from your side...I won't mind. I might even laugh.

Do try to make it AS funny, though.

Rumsfeld makes lots of hand gestures when he talks. Some of them look like kung-fu fighting techniques if you look at 'em a certain way. I think that's pretty funny - Rumsfeld appears to have a good sense of humor about himself, I'd bet he would probably think it was funny too.

You'd have to be very, very sensitive to find a political statement in that. And I thought only liberals were supposed to be the oversensitive, politically-correct types. Oh well.

Oh, and to the original link.
