You know it.

I should be sending out the next beta real soon and will have;
 Nearly complete Safari skin
Added SS2 text colours (for tabs, etc etc)
 New wells
New text/search fields (or: default ones because of naffness of white boxes )
 Redone Finder/Browser stuff
 Finished other carbon stuff
 More finished iTunes skin stuff
 Some iChat skin stuff
Note: It won't include the Solar variant since I may as well finish one, then the other.

Sorry about 1) Not really sticking to my list and 2) For lack of update/info of late, I'm having a pretty rough time.

Ooh forgot to add; The next beta will include some of the LuMetem icons and a few of the wallpapers - but not the cursors. I'll see about throwing in the newest completed icons.

Once I get everything bar extras/app-skins done, I'll be accepting some more testers. =D

I am sure that he is not finding trouble getting beta testers...

Also, lets not turn this into a "Lets post your email" thread, when and if he does start accepting more beta testers he will ask for your emails or contact, but i hope you do realize that he actually ~hasnt~.

Sending out the 0.8.2 email, the three new beta-testers areeee.. [*Drumroll*] ambush, Jaos and bluevertical.

From the email:

About 1B160
No new betas for two weeks? Yikes. Mostly it's been down to family issues and not being well, blergh. I set myself the deadline of December 10th for a 1.0 release, and I can't see that being a problem- at the very worst it just means I won't be packaging LuMetem with the guiKit. Anyway, 0.8.2 was quite quickly pumped out over the past few days. It includes:
The LuSpace wallpapers (final) in 3 sizes
Small states for Checkboxes, Radioboxes, Pushbuttons, Scrollbars, Tabs etc etc (mini States are coming soon-ish, I want to refine them some)
Removed the "fuzzy" Apple from the Graphite style
 Safari skin nearly complete!
Refined (moreso) the text colours, etched metal text shouldn't look daft now.
Went back to default text/search fields because of limitations in SS2
 Tons, really.
I'd like to ask Beta-testers to not post anymore screenshots.

esXXI,

I sent you a nice e-mail and people who just posted their e-mail addresses on this forum get chosen as beta testers instead? I understand it's your decision, but at least give me a reply.

Oh dear, sorry about that.. I don't have the best memory and I was getting quite a few emails at that time. I'll have a look through my inbox and decide if a few more people are needed to test for the next beta. Sorry.

Sorry about the lack of news, I'm still working on it. A lot of it has been delayed because of family issues (that are nobody's business); so I haven't really been up to 8-hour stretches in Fireworks. Anyway.. The Dec. 10th release is looking fine, LuGUI will be pushed out at 0.9, because of unfinished/unavailable app-skins, and possibly the lack of LuMetem icon-set. I'll be releasing small packs of LuMetem icons that are done though around that time.

Hope that explains things.
