I know what it's like having to put my life before interfacae design. They will be nice icons though if he ever does finish them.

I just wanted to post this so I could see Bombia's sig and mine in the same thread. They look kinda similar!
Well, now that I've seen them in close proximity, I'm not so sure. Bombia's has a nicer shade of blue!
By the way, has anyone seen the documentary "Dark Days"? Great film!

The answer is: whichever one you can finish fastest.
Personally, I like this newest one.

Maybe if you quit harassing people on AIM with propaganda you would have it finished by now.

I have made even a new folder prototype I think I will go with. Now, I wonder how you want the signs on the folders to look. Like sunken into the folder or as a object placed in the front of the folder? Thanks

The blue glowing ones are nice in that they are more reminiscent of Shinobi etc, but the sunken ones look much neater and more professional.
I vote for sunken ones.

I think the blue with the glow looks fantastic, but it would clash with dark themes other than Shinobi. So my vote goes to sunken, so that this icon set can match just about any dark theme out there...

I like the sunken, but it depends mostly on how these things look at smaller sizes, say < 68 x 68. Dave has just released a nice white icon set with sunken widget things for badges on the folders, but you can't tell what folder is what at small icon sizes, so it makes them unusable imo. Could you post a ss of these things at like 48 x 48?

I really like both so I could go either way. They are very nice looking.
My only request is that you include "open folder" animations w/ this icon release.
It brakes my heart to see killer looking icons that do not have animations when I go to drag and drop to them.

Yes, like akuma said... please have the open and close states with your icons.... that always adds more to the affect

The sunken ones look cool & all, but the posters who mentioned that they'll be unreadable at smaller sizes is absolutely right. Best to go with the other style if you ask me.

Thanks for all comments!
I dunno which to go with. It's hard to make the open states if the folder use the sunken badges sense the right side of the folder need to change angle so the badges will be indistinct in the open states.
