How many steps do you average per month?

Please exclude the number of steps you do at the gym or running for exercise. Simply include the amount of steps (guesstimate if you need) just doing ordinary things. You can include the gym steps in a separate category if you want.
For me, overt the last month and according to my iPhone, I average 8,374 steps per day. I did 14,000 just today and maybe just 2200 yesterday.

I walk 3-5 miles a day at work. Less on weekends.

According to my phone...somewhere between 5000-10000 steps on weekdays - call it 7000 on average. Weekends is harder because I don't always carry my phone, but each Sunday has at least 5000 registered.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Some days I get 7000 to 11000 steps, weekends I exercise but don't walk much, so that drops to about a few hundred as I have slaves carry me around.
seriously tho I'm still amazed that the iPhone's motion chip is so power efficient - at one time tracking yourself like this would kill the battery quickly.

A decent amount of steps from everyone here. I'm trying to average over 10,000 a day, but hard to do. That is about 500 calories burned!

If I decide to walk to work, I get a five mile boost for the round trip, which helps keep the average up.
