I updated to 5.0.1 and now I can't start iMovie and iPhoto. iPhoto give me the message:

"iPhoto is missing system files and cannot open. Please reinstall iPhoto from your iLife CD."

I already repair permissions, delete .plist files and resinstall ilife 05...

Help please.

Try running the 10.3.7 COMBO updater and then repair permissions afterward.

The best thing to do is try creating a new user account and then launch the programs. If it still gives the errors, try reinstalling the programs but don't run the update yet. Repair permissions and try the update. Interesting that the iMovie update seemed to kill iPhoto as well.

Damn, you Buckeyes think of everything. Good idea. Should have mentioned it myself.

No success. I login with ROOT, try to open and nothing...

Now the problem is with Pages, iPhoto and iMovie.

I'm thinking about do a "install and archive".

The combo and a permissions repair would not take long an may do the job. Worth a try before biting the bullet for an archive and install.
