I did an Archive install to 10.2, reinstalled 10.2.6 combo and now I can't access some Preferences, like NETWORK, DATE&TIME, etc. It's disabled!!

I repaired permissions, reset pram, delete system preferences .plist file and system prefs cache file...

I try to login with Root and the user does not exists!!

I opened the NetInfo Manager to enable the root pass, but I received the message:

ERROR
Domain (Null) has no root account. You must log in on the computer named (null) (where the master is located) to make changes.

Please I need HELP!

Your NetInfo database is probably corrupted...

boot into single user mode (hold-down cmd-S) during startup, then do :

mount -uw /
cd /var/db
rm -rf netinfo .AppleSetupDone

You can then restart your computer. You'll see the Registration assistant. Enter the information required, this will recreate your user account correctly. (Notice that you will NOT loose any data in your homedir).
