One thing about record collectors is that we are some of the most anal collectors on the market. I would like the vinyl records "collection" to have the followung:

• How many pressed. I.E. Many small independent labels only press 1,000.

• Which pressing. I.E. If a label does a press of 1,000 and those sell out they may opt to do a second pressing.

• With both of the above being said, a field for which number the record is. If the record is limited, some labels write out which number the record is, I.E. 246 of 1,000.

• Color of vinyl. Lots of limited editions come on a different color than the standard black color.

• Support for both front and back album art. I.E. Lots of independent labels will release two bands one one record, one band on side A and one band on side B.

• Record grades. I.E. M/M Means that the sleeve and the record are in mint condition, NM/NM is near mint/near mint. Ebay has A Guide To Vinyl Record Grades

• If the record is currently in print or out of print.

• Current and original value.

That's about all I can think of for now, if anyone has anything else to add besides the obvious, please by all means

So, the current and original value, and the condition are already fields in Delicious Library. The rest of that stuff, with the exception of back art, can go in the notes field.

I suppose it could go into the notes though it would be nice when the information is exported to html that it is formatted in a nice table or easy to read field rather than having to mine down the information

Even on a web page, wouldn't you expect to see those things in notes? I mean, doesn't seeing:
Notes: Numbered 246/1000 1st pressing. Green vinyl.
Seems both more likely and more desirable than seeing:
Numbered: No
Number Pressed: ??
Pressing: ??
Vinyl Color: Black
On nearly every entry, with the exception of the one or two that have something interesting to say on the subject?

To be honest, I would rather see the latter. That way it is consist across every entry and I will not have to remember what order I typed those things in for the last 2,000 records
