Went to the Apple Store today and they had something like six RED Nanos on display. They are beautiful, and if I had the spare money, I'd have bought one-a friend of mine could use one, and red is her color.

For those who already have a nano, you can always get one of those Decal Girl stickers that covers your 2G nano:

I'm fairly sure they have a red one for the 1G Nano as well....

But then again, it's nice to support a worthwhile charity...

I finally ordered it with engraving this afternoon. Hopefully, Apple doesn't mess up the engraving part since on the confirmation page, there is a dash on my second line, but it's being omitted on the email.

Now, time for a new case.

I think I should mention that Apple's (Product)RED support, particularly with the new Red Nano, is worlds better than any other company's I've seen. The Gap had a HUGE (Product)RED sign out, but I couldn't find any of their special merchandise beyond some EXPENSIVE tee shirts that looked like they'd been pulled from the rag bin...

I am so impressed with Apple and FedEx. I ordered the two iPod nano (red) units on Friday, and they are on a FedEx truck for delivery this morning. I was not supposed to get them until Wednesday! Woohoo!

Oh sweet! I just received them about 30 minutes ago @ 8:14 a.m. Impressive to say the least, regarding the service.

The red iPods look absolutely wonderful - I am glad I waited for this iPod. This will be my very first iPod.

Yeap. Just received an email regarding to the shipment of my red iPod nano. This is my first time to order an iPod from the Apple Store. I opted for the standard ground shipping as all previous Apple Store orders got here in 2 days (CA -> WA), but not so sure about shipment from China.

ghporter, I did purchase a GAP tee shirt last night and noticed that some of them were already out of stock. The price of a tee shirt is objective.

I just received mine early this morning, before 10am. Since I'm living in the west coast, a standard ground shipping still yielded a 2-day shipping by air.

The red color is bright and the build material is smooth as silk.

Hopefully, Apple will provide the red color iPod nano icon in iTunes 7.0.2.

Just picked up the Product Red Nano from my local Apple store. Called it Desi(red) to match my GAP T-Shirt. Selling my Pink Nano to help pay for it (don't need two and just had to have the red one.)

It's Awesome - only 1 minor quibble... in iTunes it shows up as a Silver nano (where my pink one showed as pink.) I'm sure Apple will address with the next iTunes update though...
